In 2021 and 2022, we completed over 20 POC processes, many of which have already been incorporated into our operations. In March 2022, we launched the first startup innovation program: Azrieli Innovation Sprint. The purpose of the Sprint is to find innovative solutions that are related to our operating segments and shorten the POC timeframe. Toward the Sprint, we identify the central challenges and publish a Request for Proposals, together with a clear promise of entry into a legal agreement within 24 hours of Sprint Day. In 2022, out of about 200 startups and technology companies who applied for the program, three of them were launched as pilots in September 2022.
Save-It company has developed for Azrieli Town building a smart waste disposal room with a data collection system by waste flow and by tenant, with the objective of reducing waste quantities and increasing recycling rates.
Bettear company offered a solution to our senior homes residents, for making audio accessible to the elderly by means of advanced technology, that enables reception of speaker produced audio to the resident’s phone and to their hearing aids.
Treedis company has created a virtual simulation for marketing the properties of the Group, by using technology that enables prospective tenants with virtual tours of proposed offices, allowing them to make a decision about the lease even without being physically present in the property.
