Saadia Stream is one of the tributaries of the Kishon River and is considered to be one of Haifa’s natural treasures. The stream, its banks and the surrounding areas are full of high-quality ecosystems rich in plant and animal species. Due to many years of neglect, the stream is in a difficult condition, however with care, it can be restored and returned to the community and nature. In cooperation with the Society for the Protection of Nature, we started holding a series of free gatherings for the general public on sustainability, nature and the environment, as part of the process of restoring the stream for the public’s enjoyment. This collaboration with the Society for the Protection of Nature is a direct continuation of our contribution for the company’s “Striving for a Clean Israel” project.
The U.N Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were established as a global agenda, such that their achievement by 2030 would lead to the long-term thriving of society and the economy within a stable ecological environment.
