Azrieli Mall Haifa for Saadia Stream

Azrieli Mall Haifa

When a Mall Meets Nature

Saadia Stream is one of the tributaries of the Kishon River and is considered to be one of Haifa’s natural treasures. The stream, its banks and the surrounding areas are full of high-quality ecosystems rich in plant and animal species. Due to many years of neglect, the stream is in a difficult condition, however with care, it can be restored and returned to the community and nature. In cooperation with the Society for the Protection of Nature, we started holding a series of free gatherings for the general public on sustainability, nature and the environment, as part of the process of restoring the stream for the public’s enjoyment. This collaboration with the Society for the Protection of Nature is a direct continuation of our contribution for the company’s “Striving for a Clean Israel” project.
