As part of our “Environment Project”, we set the target of reducing the amount of garbage removed to landfill and increasing recycling rates by 50% by 2025. The project operates in 19 of our mixed-use central properties . The project is maintained in collaboration with the “Social Green” initiative- an economic-social venture that integrates people with disabilities and special needs in the employment market. This collaboration promotes two objectives that are of extreme importance to us: Reducing waste to landfill and promoting equal and diverse employment. Most of the properties that take part in the Environment Project are conducting separation of organic waste. At the end of a two-year pilot, all of our office buildings and malls that take part in the project have waste separation infrastructure, and we strive to mobilize more offices, stores and restaurants to recycle as a way of life. Thereby, we continue to create an increasing number of ways that will lead to a behavioral change to maintain a greener and healthier environment.
