Dan Gillerman has served on the Azrieli Group’s Board since August 2019.
Dan also serves as chairman of the Blackstone Group in Israel, chairman and CEO of Gillerman Global Ltd., honorary president of the Israel Chambers of Commerce, chairman of the Israel Opera, and chairman of the American-Israel Friendship Association. He is a member of the board of the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Boards of Trustees of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv University, and the Jewish Agency, and the Advisory Committee of the Zuckerman Institute. Dan served as President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce from 1985-2002 and as Israel’s Ambassador to the UN from 2003-2008, during which time he also served as Vice President of the UN General Assembly.
He holds a degree in political science and economics from the Hebrew University and a law degree from Tel Aviv University, as well as an honorary doctorate from Bar Ilan University.
