Dr. Ariel Kor has served as a member of the board of directors of the Azrieli Group since November 2022.
Ariel has extensive experience in the finance industry, having previously served as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, in the VC Evergreen, and as the executive director and later senior advisor to Sampoerna Capital, a large Asian investment fund in London and Singapore. Also active in the philanthropic sector, Ariel is the co-founder of Maytiv-Israel Center for Applied Positive Psychology, founder and chairman of the Israel Center on Addiction, a member of the board of JFN Israel/USA, and has served as a board member of several NGOs.
Over the past two decades, Ariel has served on the boards of various public and private companies in Israel and overseas, created and launched educational, social, and philanthropic programs, and greatly contributed to the promotion of mental health in Israel.
Ariel holds a BA and MA in Modern History from Oxford University, MA in Clinical Psychology, MPhil and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, NY. He has also been honored as an Honorary Fellow by the Reichman University, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Bar Ilan University.
